MICHAEL STOSKUS
Well I got my foot in the door and look where I am now. Going from a minor role in Timeserver to the lead role in Robert Alaniz's film, Barrymore's Dream. This is actually his 11th film. That's why I like working for him, experience. What a challenge this has been for me. Going from a few lines to multi, multi lines. I'm up for the challenge. I have always wanted to be an actor, but working construction does not give you a lot of opportunities or time. So when this opportunity was presented, I had to take it. I might not get another chance. When I read about the main character, Michael Barrymore, I liked the character right away. The cast and crew involved in this movie are fantastic. Everyone knows what to do and I have a feeling this movie is going to be great. I could keep blabbing but I have to be on set...I think. Well, I'll see you at the Premiere! Chow!

JODI LONDON
Jodi London is very pleased to be cast in another leading role as Angel Thomas in Barrymore’s Dream. Her most recent accomplishments include a leading role, Kelly Wells, a paraplegic, in the movie Timeserver, a minor role as one of Kate’s (Sandra Bullock) surprise party guests in the movie The Lake House also starring Keanu Reeves and Lynn Collins and a reoccurring role, Gabriella, in the TV pilot series, The New Life.

A native Chicagoan, Jodi is proud that she was previously with the Second City and that she has also studied "The Michael Shurtleff Technique" with The Audition Studio. Jodi has been fortunate enough to receive excellent guidance from many leaders in the industry including Irwin Winkler, Garry Marshall, Lou Gossett Jr, Jane Alderman and Jack Valenti.

Her love of the theater began as a small child when she landed her first theatrical role at the age of 6 as The Statue of Liberty Narrator for her school play. This passion for acting continued on throughout grade school, high school and on through college. She has always aspired to be a screen actor and had some minor breakthroughs in commercials, student films and extra work on major motion pictures. Timeserver was her dream come true as her first leading role in a full length feature film...Barrymore’s Dream is the extension of her dream and she will also soon be producing her own film, Run While You Can, a romantic dram-edy that she wrote based on the story of her life.

GARY SUGARMAN
Gary Sugarman's impressive resume includes many roles in theater and film. His film credits include Dreamcatcher, Death and Taxis, Back Against the Wall, The Land of False Clocks and Johnny Got Time. His local Chicago theater credits include Clown Head where he played "The Ringmaster". He can be seen in a recent Altoids magazine ad as a "caveman" about to become dinner for a pack of wolves.

Gary's performance in Director Robert Alaniz's Timeserver was a memorable one. So much so that when casting began on Barrymore's Dream, Alaniz called him up and asked him to read for the part of Dwayne DeMarco, the sad but psychotic ex-husband of millionairess Angel Thomas. "The character is very different than the one he played in my last film and I think that's why Gary wanted to play the part so bad," says Alaniz. "If rehearsals are any indication, Gary is going to have another compelling performance for his resume." Gary lives in Wilmette, Illinois and plans to continue pursuing his acting career.

GARY GOW
Barrymore's Dream is the second Robert Alaniz film project taken on by Gary Gow, who plays the role of Arthur Shawn. Gary began performing on stage in high school and has continued honing his acting skills through community theater productions, primarily with the Palos Village Players of Palos Park, IL. Notable productions include Dracula, Inherit The Wind, The Sunshine Boys, Murder By Misadventure, Lucky Stiff, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, and Barefoot In The Park. He has recently been seen on television's The History Channel in two separate episodes of Investigating History with Bill Kurtis.

By day, Gary teaches science at Jerling Junior High School in Orland Park, IL. In addition to his duties teaching sixth grade science classes, he directs the school's annual play along with two co-workers. Recent productions have included Annie Junior, The King and I, and The Music Man Jr. His service as the boys' softball coach for the school, combined with his other endeavors, ensure an active school year.

Gary currently lives in a far southwest suburb of Chicago. After attending Moraine Valley Community College, Gary earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Animal Science (Equine Science specialization) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Before returning to the classroom, he made his living managing horse farms in southern and central Illinois.

KRISTEN PICKERING
Kristen Pickering is thrilled to be playing the part of Dorie Daniels in Barrymore's Dream. You may recognize her as the "Gag me with a spoon!" girl (a.k.a Cindy) from Sole Productions Timeserver. Most of her acting experience lies in theatre, where she has played such roles as Hero in Much Ado About Nothing for LiveWire Theatre, and Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank for Theatre for Young Audiences at Moraine Valley. Another current project is playing the lead in a production of Sin, which will go up at Breadline Theatre's lab space this August. Kristen hopes that her performance of Dorie will evoke some sympathy from the viewer, and that people will be able to relate to her. She would like to thank the cast and crew of Barrymore's Dream for all of their hard work, and Robert for this opportunity.

You can still see him for a few seconds as an extra. Dave has appeared in several advertisements for DeVry University and a short promotional video for El Valor Corporation. He also acts and is on the board of directors of Palos Village Players, the oldest non-subsidized community theater group in the Chicago area. When he is not acting on stage and screen, Dr. Dave, who holds a Doctor of Education degree from Nothern Illinois University, hones his acting skills teaching software development at DeVry University in Tinley Park.

FRED BERG
This is Fred's second, but most important, film to date, having made a cameo appearance in Timeserver. His acting career started almost 5 years ago in south suburban Chicago community theater, having performed with LincolnWay Community Theatre, the Oak Lawn Park District Theater, and The Drama Group. He has played, besides ensemble and minor roles, both Jacob and Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Uncle Jeff in Mame, Professor Marvel/The Wizard in The Wizard of Oz, Samuel Chase in 1776, and Matthew Harrison Brady in Inherit The Wind. And now, he is a (Sam) Barrymore! Fred wants to thank his SAG card carrying younger brother Paul for leading the way - Paul is a puppeteer in LA who has worked on many films and commercials. And he wants to thank his wife Diane for all her support for his antics both on-stage and in front of the camera. And he sends a great big thanks to Robert for providing him with this opportunity, and to this great cast and crew - it's a wonderful team!

ANDRIA EMERICK
Andria Emerick is new to the film business. Her passion for acting has grown through her experiences in live theatre. Some of her favorite roles have been Honey in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Inez in No Exit, Mustardseed in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Suzanne in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Silvie in The Odd Couple (the female version), and Melissa Stearn in Business Lunch at the Russian Tea Room. She is very excited to be a part of Barrymore's Dream because this will be her first film outside of school projects. She feels that she can connect with the audience in a whole new way using the camera and her development of the character Karen Tanner. She has already grown to love the cast and crew and is looking forward to putting more hard work into the making of this thrilling picture.
