Sole Productions will be holding auditions for local actors and actresses for the next film project by local independent filmmaker Robert Alaniz. Auditions will be held from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26th at the Bridge Community Center located at 7837 Lincoln Highway in Frankfort.
The film titled Nightmares is a full-length feature film to be shot entirely on Digital Video in Frankfort and various locations in the south suburbs of Chicago. Written by Alaniz, Nightmares is a psychological thriller about an ordinary man thrown into extraordinary circumstances, combining elements of dreams, astral projection, and murder.
The Director is looking for actors and actresses between the ages of 25 to 45 years of age as well as a young actress between the ages of 12 to 16. Local talent interested in attending the auditions should bring a headshot and resume. Persons interested in working "behind the camera" on the production crew such as camera operators, sound & lighting engineers, boom operators, set design, set-up crew, hair design & make-up, publicist and production assistants can also come to the auditions and fill out a production crew form. Experience is important, but not a requirement.
This will be the second community project organized by Alaniz. Sole Productions' last film project, Timeserver, premiered October 2004. Over 100 people were involved with the project. Nightmares will follow the same path with a premiere and theatrical run in the later part of 2005.
